It's the end of November, I've now owned the Porsche for exactly 1 year. I have the original emails with the previous owner, which started on the 28th of November, and the car got to Cape Town the 3rd or 4th of December. So much has happened since then, and when I look back through this build process, I can't believe how much I've actually done over the past 12 months. But I think the car is certainly looking the part now. I've recently got my first "film shoot", which hopefully will be the first of many to come, and which also helps to pay back the money I've put into the car.

Latest mods, well I went to work in the car last week, and fir the first time, I fabricated up the side curtains which came with the roof, and drove with them on the doors. Firstly, there's a lot less wind buffeting, but the curtains as they asre called, are meant to be supported by the roof being up, which I doubt I'll EVER use, except for an emergency cloudbreak. So I decided to fabricate some "windows" out of super strong Polycarbonate. I bought 5mm thick sheeting, with a subtle green tint, which makes it look like glass, and matches with the windscreen tint. Worked out a nice shape, and then cut the sheets, and shaped them, water papered the edge to give it that glass look.

Also important was to get them inward of the Windscreen, so that any wind coming off the sides of the windscreen doesn't catch these but blows round them. So after a few hours, this is what I got. Yes I'll finish off the nuts and washers with cleaner looking hardware, but I'm keen to try these and see how they perform.
